Warmth in Snowy Mongolia Baldy planned the itinerary well ensuring we had ample rest before proceeding to the next activity. He made sure we are fed well daily and got us from one location to the next safely. The Altai Mountains freezes but the warmth from the hospitality of the Nomadic families, the fun activities (horse riding, eagle hunting, and trekking) lined up by Baldy’s team kept us joyful and in awe of the amazing once-in-a-life-time experience Mongolia has to offer. Adventure of a lifetime! Baldy was an amazing guide, and I had complete trust in his itinerary. Even before the trip, he took the time to curate and customise everything according to our needs and diet restrictions. The cook and driver were also fantastic, and we always felt completely safe with them. Baldy has travelled widely, so he really understands what tourists look for - from comfort to those perfect, Instagram-worthy moments. His English is excellent, and his sense of humour made the whole trip even more fun and memorable! I never hesitated to ask for anything during the trip, and he was always quick to help. Don’t hesitate to message him if you’re planning a trip - 10/10 would absolutely recommend!

Nothing short of amazing! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our 6-day tour with Baldy from Way to Mongolia was nothing short of amazing — truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience! The first two days were spent at the Golden Eagle Festival, where we witnessed the incredible bond between eagle hunters and their majestic birds. The energy, colors, and traditions were absolutely mesmerizing. The next two days were even more special — we had the chance to learn directly from an eagle hunter about the ancient art of eagle hunting and even try horse riding across the vast steppe. It was a humbling and unforgettable experience to see the skill and respect these hunters have for their eagles. The final two days took us deep into the Altai Mountains, where the scenery left us speechless — snow-capped peaks, wide open valleys, and a sense of peace you can’t find anywhere else. Throughout the trip, we stayed with nomadic families, and their warmth and hospitality made us feel completely at home. Sharing meals, stories, and daily life with them was one of the highlights of our journey. We were also lucky to have an amazing chef with us, who prepared delicious home-cooked meals every day — from hearty Mongolian stews to freshly made dumplings and local delicacies. Even in the middle of the mountains, the food was outstanding and comforting, keeping us energized through every adventure. Our driver was equally incredible — skillfully navigating the harsh and undulating terrains of Western Mongolia with calm confidence. His experience and steady hands ensured we were safe and comfortable throughout the journey, no matter how remote the road got. A special mention goes to Baldy, our wonderful tour guide, who truly made us feel at home with his warmth, humor, and genuine care. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and always had a smile on our faces. His deep knowledge of Mongolian and Kazakh culture and easygoing personality turned every moment into something memorable. Every moment was thoughtfully planned and authentic — no touristy rush, just pure connection with nature and culture. I can’t recommend Way to Mongolia enough for anyone looking for a genuine and unforgettable adventure in Western Mongolia.

Baldy, our great guide/driver :) It was our first time in Mongolia and Baldy made the entire experience enjoyable. He was attentive and friendly. Kudos to him for driving us around and taking us off-road multiple times during the week we were there - it definitely was no easy feat! He was friendly, reliable, and made the long drives much easier with his knowledge of the routes and local culture. Gobi désert at its best. End of May is a great time to go there, not too cold, not too hot, and only a few tourists…. Our guide was great, and Gobi desert landscape was absolutely amazing. Will be back to Mongolia. I was very surprised by the quality of the yurt camps, all very comfortable

Mongolia Magic brought to you by a world class Tour guide! Baldy’s warmth and kindness was already felt in his messages even before we reached Magical Mongolia. His attention to detail, patience, going the extra mile, light hearted humor and observation skills are second to none. He curated the trip for us two girls based on our initial ask but was able to tweak it along the way upon observing what ticked our fancy. We were truly blown away by his choice of Gers (accommodation) and were utterly impressed with the quality of Vegan food that he was able to find for us. We always felt safe in Baldy’s hands and could relax knowing he was on the ball from taking care of the logistics, to the food, ensuring our safety at all times and he even procured organic honey for us. Our Mongolia trip will forever remain etched in our memories from the stunning and forever changing landscapes, to being spell bound for hours in art galleries and museums and being enchanted by the most captivating sights of the wild horses, domestic horses, marmots, 2 humped camels, goats, sheep and cows of Mongolia (Wild Horses which Baldy was able to spot in the National Park - N.B. not always guaranteed). No one gives enough credit to the artists of Mongolia as well as the knowledge one can gain at the museums, so prepare for Baldy to blow your mind with these hidden gems.
